Those ten days spent in Korea with the Korean Australian Community Scholarship [KACS] were the longest and most exhilarating days of my life. From driving around in army tanks with the First Corps only kilometres away from the North Korean border, to stepping into the Demilitarised Zone to visiting dozens of media organisations in Seoul, I am beyond grateful for the KACS scholarship in strengthening my understanding of South and North Korea.
