VR 360 Storytelling

 

Asked to find a family photograph and interview a family member about it, I dug up a photograph of my mother and my father in Leipzig in 1994, just after they moved to Germany from the Yugoslavian War. This is what she shared with me. There remains a problem with bridging the distant to the close, understanding and empathising with ones experiences without having experienced them first hand. My first attempt at 360 VR aims to offer an experimental alternative to storytelling to test how VR has the potential to enhance audience empathy.
